Unicity, a US-based company with over 20 years of experience, creates supplements for a healthy lifestyle and weight loss. They operate in over +50 countries. We developed an app using React Native that lets users log food and exercises, shop for products, and access a wealth of health articles
Design Challenges
When people start using the app, they’re very motivated and log everything accurately. However, motivation can drop after a few days, and questions like “How do I weigh food outside?” arise. To help, we introduced simple measurements like scoops, palms, and fists. Consistency is key.
We also made food logging easier with emojis for quick identification and categorized exercises by intensity. Additionally, our fat-burning zone chart keeps users inspired.
