About Project
A friend had an idea: make the daily news listenable. Short, smart, built for the morning commute or the end of a long day. The main feature is an audio player that lets you listen to summarized news on the go. We had full creative freedom — and we made the most of it. One of those projects you just enjoy from start to finish.
Design Challenges
Complete creative freedom sounds great until you're staring at a blank canvas. The real challenge was making a small app feel substantial — every screen had to earn its place. We pushed hard on motion and tactility, designing interactions that feel considered rather than default. The audio player became the product's heart. Every animation intentional. Nothing decorative for its own sake.
We overdelivered on the design system too.

About Project
Our friend had an idea to create an app for instant everyday news. The main feature is that you can listen to the daily news in the player. The request was also to create the app with a modern look and feel.
Design Challenges
The challenge was on us because we had a free hand. We could do what we wanted. But the serious challenge was to create a small yet interesting app. We put in a lot of effort to create many animations and a pleasant experience. We wanted to create a fluid experience.
